Wealth Management & Legacy Planner
Arturo Burgueno is a wealth management and legacy planner that focuses on: retirement and legacy planning, retirement income strategies, Social Security maximization, and 401(k) and IRA rollovers. It is his goal and passion to see the people he cares about financially prepared if the unexpected should happen in their lives.
He draws from personal experience when guiding others to prepare for retirement and life's unexpected events. In 2003, he was paralyzed from the chest down and was told by doctors that he might not live. He was able to tell his wife not to worry about finances because he had planned ahead. Before anything had happened, he had taken the time to ensure his family had life insurance, college funds for their children, a paid mortgage, savings, and an investment portfolio. He is passionate about helping others be able to do the same.
Arturo follows the Department of Labor (DOL) fiduciary standard when working with clients, which means he will act in only the best interest of his clients and ensure that all retirement advice given is suitable to the client’s objectives, needs, and circumstances. On an ongoing basis, Arturo educates the public by conducting seminars and speaking on Social Security benefits, tax-planning, long-term care, legacy planning, and retirement income.
Earlier in his career, he worked as a corporate executive at CEMEX, and a management consultant at Bain & Co. He's been employed across the globe in the USA, France, Spain, and Mexico.
Arturo earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the Monterrey Institute of Technology. He is fluent in English and Spanish, and conversant in French. Arturo is a member of the Class XV of the Masters’ Leadership Program of Greater San Antonio. He is the president of the Harvard Business School alumni club of San Antonio, TX.
He has obtained FINRA securities licenses Series 6, 63, and 65.
In his free time, Arturo is active and adventurous. He has competed as a triathlete and made podiums in triathlons. He has also climbed major peaks in northeastern Mexico.
